Getting started

What’s involved in setting up? Do I really need to fill out a full profile?

Yes, please complete a profile for each pet before care begins. Tell us about their personality, daily routine, meals, medical history, bathroom schedule, favorite toys, training commands and anything that worries or calms them. Include your vet’s details and emergency contacts, too. We read each profile carefully, ask follow-up questions and use your instructions to plan their care. The more you tell us, the better we can get to know your pets.

How do I book a visit?

Start with our booking request form or text (832) 501-0513. We’ll discuss your pets, check availability and arrange a complimentary meet ’n greet. Once you’re set up, you can request dates and services through our app. We’ll confirm the details before your booking is final. For memberships, we arrange your regular schedule with you.

What’s your background? How do I know my dog is safe?

We’re bonded and insured, with certification in pet first aid and CPR. We can provide references from families we’ve worked with, and we respect the privacy of every household, including those with confidentiality agreements. Your complimentary first meeting gives you a chance to ask questions and see how your pets respond to us. You can also start with a short visit while you’re home.

Our service & what to expect

Can you stay in my house during overnight sits?

Yes. Overnight care at your home is $75 per night, so your pets can stay in familiar surroundings with someone there through the night. Overnight stays at our family home in Fulbrook, Fulshear are $35 per night. These rates are for one pet; each additional pet is +$10 per night. We’ll talk about your pet’s routine and comfort to help you choose the right option.

What exactly happens during a regular visit?

We follow the care plan you’ve shared with us: meals, fresh water, bathroom breaks, a walk, play or quiet company, depending on your pet’s needs and the time booked. If you’ve arranged a cleanup add-on, we take care of that too. After the visit, you receive photos and a report about how your pets were doing, bathroom breaks and anything else you should know.

How long is a typical visit?

Drop-in visits are $25 for 30 minutes, $40 for 60 minutes or $50 for 90 minutes for one pet, with +$5 per additional pet per visit. We’ll help you choose enough time for your pets’ meals, bathroom breaks, exercise and company. See our price list for walks, daycare and overnight care.

What if my dog is anxious or has behavioral issues?

Tell us what triggers their anxiety, what helps them settle and what has worked before. We’ll discuss a plan that may include shorter visits, extra settling-in time or a familiar routine. We’re pet sitters, not trainers, and we’ll be honest about whether we’re the right fit for your pet.

What if my pet has never been sat before?

We take things at their pace. After your complimentary meet ’n greet, a short visit while you’re home can help your pet get comfortable. You might then try a visit while you’re out but nearby. We’ll send photos and an update after each visit so you know how they’re settling in.

What if my pet has special needs, is elderly or follows a specific routine?

Share their medication schedule, mobility needs, diet and daily routine in their profile. We’ll ask questions and agree on a care plan with you before booking. We have experience with pets who need extra attention, and we’ll discuss what we can safely provide for your particular pet. Visit reports keep you informed about how they’re doing.

What about feeding? Can you handle special diets?

Yes. Tell us what to feed, how much and when, including any allergies, restrictions or preparation instructions. We’ll confirm the details at our first meeting and follow the feeding routine you provide.

Can you give medications?

Medication support is included during booked care. Show us your pet’s routine at our first meeting and provide detailed written instructions. We’ll review their needs with you before confirming care, follow your instructions and send you a text when their medication is done.

What about other pets? Do you only care for dogs?

We also care for cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters and other small pets. Multi-pet households are welcome. Complete a profile for each pet so we can learn their individual needs and plan the right amount of time for everyone.

Our app & communication

What app do we use for booking and updates?

Our Heritage client app brings bookings, payments, messages, pet profiles and visit updates together. We’ll help you get set up before your first booking, so you know where to request dates, share care notes and see your pet’s photos and videos.

Can I track my pet during visits?

Our app provides GPS walk tracking, along with photo and video updates. You can see where your pet has been on their walk and keep up with their care from your phone.

Can I message you anytime?

Yes. Text us at (832) 501-0513 before, during or after a visit, or message us through the app. Send questions, changes to your plans or a detail you forgot to mention. You’ll be speaking with a real person who can help with your pet’s care.

What’s included in the post-visit report?

You receive photos and observations about your pet’s visit, including meals, bathroom breaks, activity, mood and anything noteworthy. We’ll let you know how their care routine went. Overnight updates cover how they settled in, their evening and morning routines, and anything that happened during the night.

Can you take photos and videos?

Yes. Photos and visit updates are a regular part of our care, and we share videos through the app too. You can see how your pets are doing while you’re away. Please check with us before sharing visit photos publicly.

What if something goes wrong during a visit?

We’ll contact you promptly if your pet seems unwell, is injured or needs your attention. Your profile includes your vet’s information and emergency contacts so we can follow the care arrangements agreed with you. We report changes we notice and seek veterinary help when needed.

Pricing & payments

How do I pay?

We accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfers and Zelle. We’ll confirm your payment method and billing schedule when you book. Digital invoices and receipts keep everything clear, and memberships can be billed monthly with automatic payments arranged during setup.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations with less notice are charged 50% of the visit cost. If something comes up with your regular membership schedule, get in touch so we can discuss the arrangements.

What if I need to reschedule instead of cancel?

Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we’ll work with you to find another available date or time. Contact us as soon as your plans change so we can check the schedule.

Loyalty, memberships & perks

What’s the difference between a standard visit and a membership?

Standard visits are booked as needed at our published rates. Memberships arrange regular care for two, three or five days a week, with agreed pricing and one monthly bill. We’ll discuss visit lengths and the monthly total with you before you join. Memberships include a welcome gift, and your spending earns loyalty points.

What do loyalty points do?

Every dollar you spend on visits or memberships earns loyalty points. You can redeem them for future services, gift cards or special perks. Regular bookings help your points build up over time; ask us about your balance and the rewards available.

Do membership tiers have different perks?

All memberships receive the same welcome gift, earn points at the same rate and have access to the same add-ons at the same prices. Booking more frequent visits means more spending earns points, but the benefits are the same across the membership options.

What’s in the welcome kit?

We personally put together a welcome gift for each new membership member. It usually includes a selection of treats, a toy and perhaps a little something for you. Let us know about your pet’s allergies and preferences when you complete their profile.

Can I pause my membership if I travel?

Yes. You can pause your membership without a penalty. Let us know when you’ll be away and when you’d like regular visits to restart so we can update your schedule.

Add-ons & special services

What add-ons do you offer?

Tell us what would help when you request your visit. We’ll agree on the scope and any additional charges before booking.

  • Dog baths · $15: a wash if your dog is comfortable with bathing and your setup is suitable.
  • Housekeeping · $35 per hour: cleaning while we’re there caring for your pets.
  • Pet cleanup: yard waste pickup, a deck or patio rinse, washed food and water bowls, nose marks cleaned from glass, vacuuming and steam cleaning where suitable.
  • Pet taxi and vet visit assistance: transport to a vet or grooming appointment, with someone to wait with your pet.

We don’t provide specialist grooming such as nail trimming or clipping. Ask us about the extras you need so we can confirm availability and pricing.
